Operations Manager

We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to manage construction on-site, overseeing trade partners, and ensuring the successful completion of projects. If you have a deep understanding of the craft of building, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality work, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage on-site construction from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards as well as compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Establish strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and other project partners to ensure project goals and specifications are met.
- Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Manage project documentation, including permits, RFIs, and progress reports.
- Schedule work efficiently, considering critical sequences and milestones.
- Uphold Thoughtforms' reputation for excellence, service, and collaboration.
- Promote respect for team members and clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized site.
- Advanced knowledge of trades (hands-on experience in carpentry is a plus) and a current Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License.
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or a similar role in construction.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience reviewing plans and specifications (hard copy and digital).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work closely with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, regulatory officials, and other partners.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore) and Microsoft Office.
- LEED, PHIUS, OSHA, and other relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or systems engineering, or architecture is a plus.
- Base salary range of $85,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
