Position: Project Manager

• Partner with the Construction Supervisor to plan and document projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to Thoughtforms’ quality standards; synthesize and communicate data to inform client decisions.
• Manage and control project finances, establish control estimates, identify cost-saving opportunities, and communicate costs to clients.
• Bid and subcontract work; verify/process subcontractor and vendor invoices.
• Lead and document weekly project coordination meetings with clients, architects, and project partners.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets; regularly communicate progress to clients and internal teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Establish strong relationships with coworkers, the design team, and clients to ensure collaboration and client satisfaction.
• Maintain Thoughtforms’ reputation for excellence by performing at a high level and setting a professional example.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in high-end residential construction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and project partners.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
• Advanced financial management experience, including budgeting and construction software proficiency (e.g., Timberline/Sage, Procore).
• Experience reviewing plans and specifications (hard copy and digital) and ensuring subcontractor bids and billing reflect actual progress.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil or systems engineering, or architecture preferred.
• LEED, PHIUS and PMP certifications and Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License are a plus.

• Full-time position
• Base salary range: $80,000 – $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience
