Our client is seeking a Senior HR Specialist to support employee benefits administration and leave-of-absence programs. This role will serve as a key resource for employees regarding benefits, leave policies, compliance, and HR systems while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and exceptional employee support.

Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8AM-5

PM Responsibilities:
  • Support new hire onboarding and benefits enrollment activities.
  • Assist with benefits audits, open enrollment, and annual benefits renewal processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS systems and generate reports as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and company benefits and leave regulations.
  • Support HR administrative initiatives, including employee training records and related documentation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
  • Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and wellness offerings.
  • Manage the full leave administration process, including FMLA, state leave programs, ADA accommodations, short- and long-term disability, and workers' compensation coordination.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience utilizing HRIS platforms and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience administering employee benefits and leave programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of: FMLA, ADA, COBRA, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability, Workers' Compensation, and State Leave Programs
Preferred

Skills:
  • Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Experience supporting annual open enrollment and benefits audits.
  • Familiarity with vendor management and employee benefits communications.
