Material Control Technician | Boston, MA Area
Join a dynamic team as a Material Control Technician in the Boston, MA area! We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to support our material control room and kitting room operations. Key Responsibilities- Follow all safety policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Complete required QMS training before performing assigned tasks
- Operate computers, software systems, and printers as trained
- Use warehouse equipment such as manual pallet jacks and a plastic baler
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and in proper working condition
- Replenish Material Control Room inventory and prepare components for clean room transfer using the Kanban system
- Perform accurate and timely material movement transactions in SAP ERP
- Respond promptly to handheld two-way radio communication
- Complete end-of-shift duties (empty trash, package empty trays, etc.)
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- No experience required - full training provided!
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to read and understand documentation and work instructions in English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift and move 30-50 lbs
- Able to operate manual pallet jacks
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for up to 12 hours per shift
- Ability to lift above shoulder height frequently and below the waist occasionally
- Friday - Sunday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | $22.09 per hour
- Friday - Sunday |6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | $25.40 per hour
- Paid for 40 hours
- Flexibility is required for shift adjustments based on business needs
