Acton Medical Associates, PC a busy adult and pediatric primary care practice is seeking full-time Nurse Practitioner for our Internal Medicine department to join our team. The NP will participate in a care team model, collaborating with primary care physicians to care for a panel of patients with a variety of primary care needs including routine physicals, chronic disease management, and urgent care.
This position is full‑time with occasional Saturday urgent care coverage. No night or weekend call.
We are looking for 8 sessions (4 full days or 3 full days and 2 half days). We participate in a care team model that does not require NPs to carry a panel of patients. The NPs work within a care team with approximately 2–3 PCPs to provide comprehensive preventive care, chronic disease management, transitional care out of the hospital setting, and urgent care for adult patients age 18‑end of life.
Education and Experience- Must be a graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- At least 3‑5 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in adult medicine.
- Certified as a nurse practitioner by the ANCC or AANP.
- Current RN and NP licensure in Massachusetts.
- Current BCLS.
- CPR certification annually.
- Participation in relevant CEU programs.
- Maintenance of requirements for licensure.
