To process and stock a variety of quality meat and meat‑related items in a careful, clean, neat, and expedient manner, ensuring that product is fresh and appealingly displayed for our customers while maintaining great customer service.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have knowledge of all cuts of meat.
• Must be Serv Safe certified.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and be able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.

• Commit to the “Golden Rule” and collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team.
• Maintain high associate morale by working in a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented manner (RSTO).
• Wrap products in trays, weigh, and price cut meat.
• Cut beef, pork, veal, poultry, and lamb to company standards.
• Stock meat case, freezer, and other displays in a neat manner.
• Unload meat delivery and store product in the designated area.
• Keep back room, cooler, freezer, fans, drains, and display cases organized and clean, monitoring correct temperature and reporting refrigeration failures immediately.
• Rotate all meat products in display cases, coolers, and freezers according to company policy, using the oldest products first (first‑in, first‑out).
• Maintain a swept, clean, orderly work area free of safety hazards and report any hazards immediately.
• Practice the “Cleaner’s Creed” and follow proper sanitation procedures.
• Exercise safe practices on all meat department equipment and tools.
• Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, or property defacement.
• Complete onboarding e‑learnings and department checklist within 30 days of hire.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Standing and walking on a title or concrete floor, reaching at waist or overhead, seeing, and hearing continuously.
• Lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs, pushing and pulling up to 400 lbs, and bending frequently.
• Climbing up to 12‑foot height, stooping, kneeling, crouching occasionally.
• Using hands to fingering, balancing, and crawling occasionally.
• Exposing to hazardous cleaning solutions occasionally, and contact with skin irritants, toxic exposure, and nuisance dust and fumes occasionally.
• Exposure to loud noise, twisting of back and neck, slippery and cluttered floor surfaces frequently.
• Exposure to hazardous equipment with moving parts and sharp objects continuously.

Pay range: $17.30–$22.50 per hour.
