Are you a skilled Carpenter with a passion for high-quality craftsmanship? Thoughtforms is seeking a Carpenter to join our team. We value attitude and aptitude and look for a "how can I help" mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities- Perform a diverse range of builders work including layout and dimensional control; cabinetry, interior/exterior trim, door and window installation; some framing; and general carpentry support to subcontractors.
- Support the Construction Supervisor by interpreting and following blueprints, sketches, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry tasks using hand and power tools.
- Demonstrate knowledge of general and finish carpentry, millwork, and cabinetry while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting safety, quality, schedule, budget, or reputation.
- Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery; maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with a track record of high-quality finishes.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and general knowledge of all trades and construction methods/materials.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and project partners.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and align decisions with project objectives.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina for varied weather conditions; valid driver4s license and reliable transportation.
- Possess a basic carpentry tool kit.
- Full Time
- Starting wage of $22.00 - $36.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
