Truck Driver/Skilled Laborer (Temp)
Department: Highway Department
Location: Town of Acton, MA
Responsibilities- Operate vehicles and equipment.
- Perform construction and maintenance tasks on town ways.
- Use rakes, shovels and other related equipment for manual labor.
- Assist with snow removal and other emergency work.
- A valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Minimum of one (1) year of public works or similar construction related experience and equipment operation experience.
- If remain in position after two years, employee must obtain CDL Class B endorsement or greater with an airbrake license.
- If remain in position after one year, employee must obtain Massachusetts Hoisting License 1D (forklift), Class 2B or greater and OSHA 10 at hire or must be obtained.
Starting $27.1174/hour, $56,404.14/year
