Responsibilities- Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adult and pediatric patients.
- Adhere to the service and courtesy standards of Piedmont Urgent Care to deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction at all times.
- Provide patient care within the respective clinical area in compliance with Professional Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations, and Piedmont Urgent Care policies and procedures.
- Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
- Provide and/or document a complete report of all services rendered and maintain accurate records.
- Complete necessary documentation and communicate to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
- Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations.
- Engage in professional development and maintain certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS and any area-specific requirements.
- Report to the Regional Medical Director (RMD).
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
- Current DEA registration.
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
- Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
- BLS certification (provided if needed).
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by Well Street Urgent Care.
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees.
- Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees.
