• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adult and pediatric patients.
• Adhere to the service and courtesy standards of Piedmont Urgent Care to deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction at all times.
• Provide patient care within the respective clinical area in compliance with Professional Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations, and Piedmont Urgent Care policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provide and/or document a complete report of all services rendered and maintain accurate records.
• Complete necessary documentation and communicate to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations.
• Engage in professional development and maintain certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS and any area-specific requirements.
• Report to the Regional Medical Director (RMD).

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (provided if needed).
• Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by Well Street Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees.
