Supply Chain & Procurement Manager - Manufacturing (JN-

Location: Woodstock, GA
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000
Employment Type: Full-time

This íe a hands‑on opportunity to lead supply‑chain activities within a U.S.​-based manufacturing environment. You will drive improvements, directly impact production performance, and build structure from the ground up.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
  • Proven success managing end‑to‑end supply‑chain and procurement operations
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory control, safety stock levels, and MOQ strategy
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP, MRP, or WMS systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data‑analysis skills
  • Experience leading purchasing and inventory teams
  • Comfort driving change, building processes, and improving systems
  • Ability to negotiate with vendors to reduce costs, improve delivery, and mitigate risk
  • Experience sourcing alternate suppliers and reducing sole‑source exposure
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Define inventory strategy using historical usage and demand forecasting
  • Ensure on‑time delivery of parts to support production schedules
  • Partner closely with production, sales, logistics, and procurement teams
  • Troubleshoot supply disruptions and minimize downtime
  • Track KPIs related to inventory, vendor performance, and production readiness
  • Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives across supply‑chain operations
Preferred Background & Skills (Nice‑to‑Haves)
  • Lean manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and compliance practices
  • Experience working with industrial equipment or complex assemblies
  • Familiarity with Syspro or similar ERP platforms
  • Background in process improvement within growing or evolving organizations
