Pay Range: $33.00/hr - $59.00/hr

  PRN (As-Needed)
• Exemplary Practice: Perform comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for GI procedure patients. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adapted to cultural diversity and population-specific needs.

  Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care. Promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment and demonstrate fiscally responsible practices that support team recruitment and retention.
• Professional Development: Complete all required competency assessments and education. Serve as a preceptor/mentor to nurture the future nursing workforce and model professional practice.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Promote and participate in nursing research, performance improvement, and value analysis. Uphold all organizational policies, clinical competencies, and accreditation standards (e.g., TJC Patient Safety Goals).
• Resources and Support: Proactively plan patient care across the continuum. Participate in developing protocols and procedures to achieve best-practice outcomes and support the efficient use of human and material resources.

• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
• Minimum 10 years of current, direct patient care experience in an acute care setting
• BLS and ACLS certification (required upon hire)
• PALS and/or NRP certification preferred
• Strong procedural, pre-operative, and post-operative nursing skills
• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing is required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred
• Experience in a GI lab, endoscopy, procedural, pre-op, or PACU setting is highly desirable
• Expertise in the nursing process and evidence-based practice
• Excellent interdisciplinary communication and collaboration skills
• Strong patient education and relationship-building abilities
• Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and shared governance
