Position Details:

• Specialty: Emergency Medicine (MD ABEM)
• Location: Mercy Hospital Ada, OK
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing
• Schedule: 5 or more shifts per month (mix of days and nights)
• Shifts:
  
  6a-6p, 11a-11p, 6p-6a
• Patient Volume: Approximately 20-25 patients per day; annual volume of 30,000
• EMR System: Epic
• Certifications Required: BC, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience: 2 years recent experience preferred
• State Licensure: Accepting candidates licensed in Oklahoma or willing to apply
• Type of Need: Locums (Vacancy due to FTE Increase)

Additional Information:

• Mercy Hospital Ada is a Level 3 Trauma center.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine (not Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) is required.
• Life support certifications are necessary.
• Admission rate: 15% for both adults and pediatric patients.
• ED beds: 12 in Ada.
• No backup required.
