* Summary:

** Performs lay-up of metal bond and composite materials in accordance with customer and company specifications and requirements while following company policies and using proper personal protective equipment.
* This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Applies adhesive to metal detail parts and assembles parts.
* Lays up composite fiberglass parts according to engineering specifications and work orders.
* Visually inspects parts for foreign object damage (F.O.D.) prior to bagging parts.
* Vacuum bags parts while ensuring there are no leaks in bag.
* Cleans and preps bond tools as needed.
* Unbags and unmolds parts as needed.
* Records job information in ERP system.
* Properly documents travelers, process logs, recorder charts and tank information.
* Maintains clean work area, tools and equipment.
* Inspects work pieces for defects.
* Performs other duties as assigned.## Qualifications

* US Citizen or Permeant Resident (ITAR requirement)
* Must be able to wear proper personal protective equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
* Must be able to accurately read shop traveler instructions.
* Mechanical aptitude to include the ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and work orders.
* Ability to safely use hand tools.
* Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds with assistance.
* Ability to identify proper materials and supplies according to specifications.
* Team player with a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
* Ability to communicate verbally in one-on-one situations with management and coworkers; listen to others without interrupting and get clarification when needed.
* Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions.
* Ability to follow priorities and plan work activities; use time efficiently; and work within deadlines.
