Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic teacher to serve as a Long Term Substitute Teacher for our Math program. The role is full‑time and requires a strong background in middle or high school math instruction.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, data‑driven instruction to all students.
- Use objective assessments and analytical thinking assignments to gauge student understanding.
- Facilitate mixed‑ability learning environments.
- Demonstrate depth of content knowledge and pedagogical skills.
- Model continuous learning for students, parents, peers, and supervisors.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
- Maintain a consistent classroom environment and routines throughout the school.
- BA or BS required; MA or MS preferred.
- Highly qualified teachers who have passed the MTEL test for Math and hold the SEI endorsement if applicable.
- At least two years of classroom teaching experience or equivalent.
- Experience implementing multi‑tiered systems of academic and/or behavioral support.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and diverse environment.
Salary ranges from $48,545 to $96,983 based on education and relevant experience.
