We are looking to bring in a skilled Quality Engineer who can program our CMM machines 3-5 new parts a week.
No degree required.
Description- Program, operate, and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), preferably using PC-DMIS software.
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined parts.
- Interpret GD&T, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
- Create and maintain detailed inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Troubleshoot and optimize CMM programs for accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues.
- Support calibration and verification of measurement equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CMM programming and operation.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Experience with precision machining or aerospace components is a plus.
- Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
This is a Permanent position based out of Addison, IL.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
