Rehabilitation Technician - Addison (Physical/Occupational Therapy)

Position Highlights- Full‑time, 40 hours/week
- Hours:
Monday‑Friday; must work two evenings until 7:00 pm. - Location:
Addison, IL - Travel:
Expected to travel other sites for coverage needs.

- Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Director, the Rehabilitation Technician will be responsible for:
- Patient care, support, and guidance
- Execute plans of care under guidance of PT/OT providers.
- Proper set‑up and adjustment of exercise equipment.
- Assist with set up and delivery of modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs, etc.).
- Utilize appropriate educational techniques including demonstration and cueing to ensure patient understanding of exercises.
- Monitor patient safety and response to exercise intensity.
- Discuss patient performance with PT/OT provider.
- Clinic flow:
- Monitor patient arrivals, start patients on time, maintain cleanliness, order supplies, and perform front‑end tasks (check‑in, co‑pay/financial responsibility collection, answering phones, scheduling future appointments).
- Communicate via chat with PT/OT and chiropractic referral team regarding patient insurance benefits.
- Schedule management for clinicians (e.g., patient confirmation calls, rescheduling patients as needed).
- CPR certification required (certification offered through Duly Health and Care).
- High School Diploma.
- Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Understanding of principles, contraindications, and precautions in the use of therapy modalities.
- Ability to identify proper patient set‑up on each piece of equipment and adjust when needed.
- Identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning.
- Team‑oriented; attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Problem‑solving, lateral thinking, and reasoning skills.
- Strong communication skills.
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $15.10–$22.70 per hour, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
