We are looking for a detail‑oriented Quality Control Technician to join our production team. In this role you won’t just be checking boxes – you’ll be the final line of defense ensuring that the structural components holding up iconic buildings across the globe are safe, accurate, and built to last. You will work directly with our fabrication team to inspect everything from forged steel nodes to powder‑coated finishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection: Conduct rigorous physical inspections of raw materials and finished components (nodes, tubes, and fasteners) to ensure they meet engineering blueprints and proprietary System‑III specifications.
  • Technical Verification: Utilize a variety of precision measurement instruments and gauging tools to verify that all components meet strict dimensional tolerances and engineering specifications.
  • Process Monitoring: Audit the fabrication process, including CNC node‑drilling and automatic member cutting, to catch deviations early.
  • Finishing Oversight: Inspect galvanized and powder‑coated finishes for thickness, consistency, and corrosion resistance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate quality logs, identify non‑conforming materials, and work with production leads to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with our engineering and fabrication teams to continuously improve our "Made in the USA" quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing QC role (experience with steel fabrication or structural components is a huge plus).

    Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Eye for Detail: An obsession with accuracy – you notice the things others miss.
  • Tools: Proficiency with manual measurement tools and a basic understanding of CNC precision.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly explain quality issues to the production team and suggest solutions.
