Hospice Registered Nurse

1. Estimated pay: $80,000 per year. Our client is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse to join their dedicated team in Addison, IL. The RN will provide compassionate hospice care to patients in their homes, ensuring comfort, dignity, and high-quality clinical support during end-of-life care.

• Assess patients, create and manage care plans, administer medications, monitor symptoms, and provide education and emotional support to families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary hospice team to deliver coordinated and patient-centered care.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
• Associate degree or higher in Nursing
• Minimum of one year of RN experience (Hospice experience preferred)
• Current BLS and CPR certification (support available if not current)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Start and end times vary by day. Includes one 24-hour weekend shift per month, two weekday on-call shifts per month (5:00 PM to 8:00 AM), and two holidays per year (one summer, one winter) with three floating holidays. Additional stipends and compensation are provided for on-call responsibilities. Dedicated after-hours RN coverage is available nightly.
