Asa Sr.Maintenance Technician,internally known asthe

Automation

Whisperer,youwillbe the top level ofsupportfor the mechanical systems in our Fulfillment Center.

Youwill be responsible forperformingpreventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex problems and performing mission‑critical repairs on equipment to keep the Fulfillment Centerfully operational. You will work closely with vendors and internal partners to diagnose problems and perform repairs over a widerange of material handling equipment to supportsafe and efficient operations.

• Performadvancedpreventative maintenance onconveyor systems in the distribution center including sorters, powered conveyors, truck loaders, and other material handling equipment.
• Using prior knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and computer-controlledequipment to diagnoseroot cause of complex problems.
• Performemergency repairs onthe most complexequipment as needed.
• Training level 2technicians and apprentices in proper maintenance, repair, and inspection methods.
• Perform daily visual and auditory inspections of the equipment, noting and addressing issues found.
• Performadvanceddiagnostic tests as neededand coordinates support activities with 3 rd party vendors.
• Act astop-level support forfire/sprinkler systems, standby generator, HVAC equipment etc. and other equipment within the fulfillment center.
• Climbing ladders, usingforklifts, scissor lifts, saws, drills,hand tools,etc.
• Partnerwiththe Fulfillment Centerleadership team to understand mission and supports needed operational changes through planning and executing directives.

• You have5+years ofmechanicalexperience in an automated distribution center environment utilizing powered conveyors, sorters, and other automated material handling equipment.
• Youexcel attroubleshootingcomplexproblems with electrical,mechanical,pneumatic,and computer-controlledequipmentin an industrial environment.
• You can perform complex repairs of equipment with the help of remote support andhaveexperience reading technical manuals and blueprints
• You have a valid driver’slicense,and willingness to infrequently travelto other facilities as needed
• You can work the shift 12:00 PM-8:30 PM
• You’re an all-star communicator and are fluent in English (both written and verbal)
• You havetheability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform 8 or more hours of standing, bending, lifting,walking,and carrying products in combination at any given time
