Position SummaryMaintenance Technicians are responsible to the Maintenance Supervisor and shall ensure compliance with all FAA Regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and procedures outlined in this manual. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and major inspections on Honda Jet, Piper, TBM, Pilatus, Lear Jets, Beechjet, Citations, and other corporate aircraft. Tasks involve troubleshooting, repair, modification of aircraft systems and engines, component removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs.
The AMT must use sound judgment and technical skills for maintenance decisions, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure repairs are performed by approved methods, following manufacturer specifications, FAA regulations, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
- Plan and coordinate shop activities to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
- Complete all work according to manufacturer instructions and TITLE 14 CFR part 43.
- Protect all parts and assemblies against loss or damage.
- Properly complete all repair station forms.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and available; remove unserviceable tools from use.
- Handle parts properly and preserve units during maintenance.
- Be familiar with repair station manual, FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, service letters/bulletins, and engineering orders.
- Communicate with lead technicians about work progress.
- Perform repairs, inspections, and modifications on airframes and powerplants.
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
- Sign off discrepancies with complete information.
- Promote a positive attitude and teamwork.
- Use expertise to meet schedules and quality standards.
- Follow safety precautions and use protective devices.
- Address employee concerns and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure work is inspected by qualified personnel.
- Participate in strategizing and implementing maintenance tactics.
- Provide leadership and communication to team members.
- Perform related tasks as assigned.
- Minimum seven years of related experience or equivalent education.
- Preferred:
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background and drug tests.
- Willingness to work off-site and weekends if necessary.
- Attention to detail, persistence, reliability, and a cooperative attitude.
- Ability to work independently and under stress.
- Results-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
$30 - $45 per hour.
