Rebuild Restoration Technician

Romexterra Restoration has been a leading restoration company in the Chicagoland area for over 20 years. Known for our fast response and exceptional customer service, we specialize in water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration.

The role supports restoration projects by helping repair fire and smoke damage and assisting with construction tasks like drywall, painting, and material handling. It requires physical labor, reliable transportation, and a willingness to follow safety protocols and respond to emergency calls if needed.

• Fix damage caused by fire and smoke.
• Help Lead Carpenters with material pick‑ups, deliveries, and carrying 50+ lbs.
• Help with simple construction tasks like installing drywall, painting, etc.
• Arrive at job sites using own vehicle.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Follow all laws and guidelines during work.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in restoration or construction is a plus but not required.
• Certifications in restoration are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle/transportation.
• Able to respond to emergency calls after work hours if needed.
• Physical ability to do manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.

• Hourly Rate: $18 to $25 per hour, based on experience.
