Driver - CDL Driver Manual Class A

SWD Inc. opened for business in March 1980 with three employees in a 9,000 sq. ft. leased facility and began black oxiding, cleaning, and pickling operations with used equipment. In late 1980, the company began passivating stainless steel and in 1981 purchased Fastener Sorting Corporation. Today, a recognized leader in the Metal Finishing and Fastener Sorting fields, SWD Inc. has over 200 employees and runs three shifts per day in its 250,000 sq.

ft. facility just west of Chicago in Addison, Illinois.

We are seeking a Driver. This full time position will be 100% Driver. When driving, it is local driving so you'll be home every night! The position is Monday-Friday (7am start), and may occasionally (but rarely) include weekends. The starting pay is $20.00/hour.

• Accurately load and unload trucks with a lift truck, pallet jack, or two-wheel dolly.
• Correctly weigh in incoming material using a floor scale.
• Identify fasteners or products from the packing slips provided.
• Legally and competently drive a tractor trailer.
• Help the traffic manager with routing of the trucks.
• Interact with customers in a courteous manner.
• Complete appropriate documents and necessary paperwork.
• Drive a lift truck and help with shipping and receiving.

• Must have a Class A CDL License.
• Flexibility to work on the dock some days, and drive others.
