What we are looking for

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Fund Accountant to join our Fund Accounting Group. This role is key in managing financial reporting and accounting for investment companies, funds, and joint ventures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and review GAAP/IFRS financial statements, reporting packages, and investor capital statements in accordance with LPAs, PPMs, and side letters
  • Perform detailed reviews of general ledgers, trial balances, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting deliverables
  • Support the Senior Fund Accountant in managing relationships with the fund administrator, auditors, and tax preparers by monitoring timelines, deliverables and issue resolutions as they arise
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned funds by reviewing management fees, carried interest waterfalls, capital calls, and distributions against the governing documents
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate fund‑level reporting, liquidity planning, and cash management approvals
  • Coordinate with internal and external valuation teams to obtain fair values and ensure appropriate disclosures are provided for audits
  • Assist Asset Management and Investor Relations in responding to investor questions, audit confirmations, and performance metric requests
  • Maintain and reconcile intercompany balances and ensure timely settlement of related‑party transactions and payments
  • Contribute to process improvements of automation initiatives, control enhancements, and the continued adoption of best practices in fund accounting and reporting
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the team and organizational goals.

Position Qualifications /

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1‑2 years of relevant accounting experience (fund accounting or Big 4 preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and governing documents
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across internal and external parties
  • Self‑motivated team player with a strong work ethic and ability to manage competing priorities
  • CPA or CPA Candidate (Preferred)
