Customer Support Specialist – Trans-Amigos Express (TAE) Courier and Member Discount Services -- Amigos Library Services -- Dallas, TX

Amigos Library Services seeks to fill the position of Customer Support Specialist – Trans-Amigos Express (TAE) Courier and Member Discount Services for its team in our Addison office. The Customer Support Specialist provides timely and accurate support for customers of Trans-Amigos Express (TAE), the courier delivery service for libraries operated by Amigos. The successful candidate will also provide administrative support to the Member Discount Services and Trans-Amigos Express units and assist with organizational projects as needed.

This position reports to the Supervisor, Member Discount Services and Trans-Amigos Express.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  This position provides support for Trans-Amigos Express (TAE) and Member Discount Services (MDS) through written and phone responses to customer service requests.
• Ability to work independently.
  This position receives, sorts, and directs or redirects courier packages and maintains courier supplies. This position has responsibility for new order and renewal processes for subscriptions through Member Discount Services, including creation and delivery of pricing and tracking of confirmed orders in a timely manner.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
  This position monitors the TAE e-mail account and maintains Customer Relations Management (CRM) records on interactions with TAE customers. The selected candidate will also maintain statistics and prepare reports for the courier service.
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, database, and email software.

Experience in supporting customers through direct customer service, face-to-face or by phone and e-mail. Experience in maintaining records, schedules, databases, and creating reports. Experience working in a library, logistics, or the non-profit sector preferred.
