Vendor Relations Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Vendor Relations Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying and onboarding bulk junk removal service providers
, ensuring we partner with reliable and cost-effective vendors
. This position requires strong research skills, excellent communication, and a keen eye for quality to support our growing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify potential vendors for bulk junk removal services.
  • Source vendors using online databases, industry contacts, trade shows, and referrals
    .
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities, capacity, pricing, and reliability.
  • Initiate contact with prospective vendors and assess their interest in partnering with us.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor contacts to facilitate smooth negotiations.
  • Review and analyze vendor proposals to ensure the best fit for our needs.
  • Coordinate and conduct vendor site visits to assess facilities and operations.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure favorable agreements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive vendor database with performance metrics and contract details.
  • Monitor vendor compliance with contractual terms and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Resolve vendor-related issues or disputes promptly.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and compliance teams to align vendor selection with company goals.
  • Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities, including performance metrics and cost analysis.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to integrate vendor sourcing strategies into business operations.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in vendor sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management (
    waste management or construction industry preferred
    ).
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify and evaluate vendors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to establish and maintain relationships.
  • Proficient in sourcing and procurement software/tools
    .
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented
    , and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
