Position SummaryThe Contracts Manager is responsible for planning and administering sound, effective and fully compliant contract management advice and guidance. Acts as the Company's focal point for day-to-day contact to include subcontracts and contract financing. Responsible for knowing all contractual requirements, monitoring contract funds status, coordinating the preparation of contract reports, Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) items, billing documents, and advising the Program Managers on contractual rights, risks, obligations and opportunities for enhanced performance.
Works cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless customer service to both internal and external customers. Serves as the direct liaison to the Government Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO), Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO), and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) for all government contract and related funding matters. In this role you will have supervisory responsibility for all KA company Program Contracting Administrator personnel assigned to specific KA contracts

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Professional certification through NCMA (CFCM or CPCM) or equivalent is preferred or the ability to obtain a certification within the first three years of employment.
- Minimum of five (5) years' government contract management experience is required to include a working knowledge of FAR / DFAR requirements and contract law.
- Combination of contract / subcontract management knowledge and administration ability, customer focus and strong people skills.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Flexibility to change gears and re-prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Read, identify and comprehend specific contract language to provide compliant interpretations of contract requirements. Knowledge of FAA regulations necessary and a plus.
- Ability to build and maintain a positive report with internal and external customers.
- Must be highly detail oriented.
- Effectively schedule, communicate, and meet agreed upon deadlines.
- Use discretion when dealing with company-sensitive and / or confidential information.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Strong oral and verbal communication skills to effectively and efficiently obtain and relay information to others in person, by phone, by e-mail and most importantly in writing. Must have ability to write clear, concise reports, and procedures. Must also be able to prepare and present effective briefings and response to questions from critical audiences' members. business correspondence
- Professionally communicate with internal and external customers at all levels.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Advanced ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Microsoft Office, Management Information software, Excel spreadsheets, internet software and e-mail / Microsoft Outlook.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable government security clearance or National Agency Check (NAC).
- This is an onsite Monday through Friday position.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
