Your Responsibilities Will Be
  • Design and develop control systems architecture, including HMI interfaces, PLC programming, and output logic to system components.
  • Create and maintain control logic diagrams, functional specifications, and system documentation.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineering to ensure control systems align with system performance requirements.
  • Partner with Project Engineers to ensure control systems meet customer specifications and expectations.
  • Select and integrate various logic controllers (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens) and industry-standard control platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous area safety requirements and implement safe industrial interlocks where applicable.
  • Support system commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization during project execution.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and safety standards related to control systems.
  • Support sales team as required to secure future work.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, controls engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in control system design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems and instrumentation.
  • Experience with hazardous area classifications and safety interlock systems is a plus.

Licensing or

Certifications:

Licensed Professional Engineer is a plus.

Travel Requirements: Estimated to be no more than 10% of working hours.

  • Positions in this function typically require typing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
  • Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
  • The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job.
  • Compliance with company attendance standards.

Light Work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.

Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
