Your Responsibilities Will Be
  • Organizes and maintains project-related information that includes 3D CAD models, CAD drawings, material lists and related documentation.
  • Determines completeness of project related information and requests information when necessary.
  • Works closely with Sales, Project Engineering and Project Management to ensure all designs are per project specifications and schedule.
  • Prepares drawings required for Customer approval, material procurement and for fabrication.
  • Reviews drawings of peers to assure accuracy and best design practices.
  • Assists the Engineering team in issuing project documents to the customer and fabricators.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in computer Aided Design or related degree.
  • Five (5) years minimum of related engineering experience.
  • Experience designing industrial casing plate ductwork and structural members.
  • Experience with 3D modeling.
  • Ability to calculate lengths, distances, angles, areas, volumes, required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Autodesk® Inventor design software.
  • Experience with industrial process piping.
  • Knowledge of butt weld, socket weld and threaded piping systems.
  • Working knowledge of P&t and evaluation.
Travel Requirements
  • Estimated to be no more than 25% of working hours.
  • Valid Driver’s License Required.

Positions in this function typically require typing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

  • Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
  • The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job.
  • Compliance with company attendance standards.

Light Work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.

Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
