Role Summary
This role leads analysis for in‑force policy holders, large cases, and new sales ideas, including actuarial modeling, pricing, and regulatory compliance for indexed and fixed/traditional life products. You will collaborate with the product team, Customer Innovation Group, and Distribution/Field Leaders to align product decisions with strategic goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with L&A Solutions, operations, legal, marketing, underwriting, and distribution to support ad‑hoc product requests, large case reviews, profitability analysis, marketing program evaluation, and competitor deep dives.
- Develop and oversee pricing models, analyze sensitivities, and reverse‑engineer key features of competitor products.
- Recommend or advise on actuarial and business matters across functions.
- Resolve complex problems with business impact.
- Review product specifications, actuarial reports, filing memos, and regulatory documentation for life product expertise.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for projects.
- Conduct experience study reviews, pricing assumption analysis, and support ad‑hoc pricing efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years actuarial experience focused on life products and benefits, including pricing.
- FSA designation required, or ASA with significant additional experience.
- Knowledge of Non‑forfeiture, 7702/7702A, illustration, and related standards.
- Strong financial modeling skills and ability to build pricing engines with actuarial software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex topics to non‑technical audiences.
- Self‑motivated and results‑focused.
Preferred Qualifications
- Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
- Experience with MG‑ALFA.
- Annuity product knowledge.

Base Pay Range
: $116,250 – $170,500 USD
Additional compensation may include medical, financial, or other benefits (401(k), paid time off, incentive programs). Salary may be adjusted based on experience and market.
