Golden Dog Title is seeking a Licensed Escrow Officer to perform advanced duties related to all facets of escrow processing. The position will sit in our Dallas, TX office.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Ability to complete routine residential resale, refinance or builder escrow transactions, including document preparation and the accurate preparation and submission of the closing disclosure
  • Ability to read and understand title commitments
  • Ability to resolve title issues (e.g. corrective deeds, vesting, federal tax liens, abstracts of judgment, bankruptcies, mineral rights, boundary disputes and encroachments)
  • Understands real estate regulations and guidelines.
  • Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines
  • Coordinates the closing between all parties to the escrow
  • Returns all calls, voicemails and e-mails in a timely manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintains cordial relationship with realtors, lenders, builders, buyers and sellers to promote/solicit business
  • Adheres to company policies and guidelines.
Experience, Skills, Knowledge
  • Texas State Escrow License is required
  • Must be a certified notary public in the state of Texas
  • High school degree or equivalent required – Associates or Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years escrow experience is required
  • Knowledge of Soft Pro is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Physical Demands
