Mammography Technologist Trainee

Work Location: Solis Mammography and Washington Radiology markets across the United States (specific openings will vary based on when applying)
Work Hours: PRN, part-time and full-time available
Position Highlights
- Paid training in mammography with industry leader in women’s healthcare
- Employment guaranteed following passing mammography registry
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography;
- If student, must be in you final semester of Radiologic Technology program
- An interest in training in mammography as an advanced modality
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Trains with their preceptor to consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
- Learns to prepare for and assist the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies.
- Learns to produce high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate.
- Develops the ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
- Maintains patient-first focus and exhibits outstanding customer service skills
