Texas Spine Consultants is currently seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to become part of our pain management practice. This role includes Scribe duties and Scribe experience is a plus.

Travel is required to Cedar Hill and Sachse clinics, and to other clinics as needed.

• Answer phones.
• Scribe for the provider.
• Perform general nursing care to patients following established standards and procedures.
• Greet patients and escort them to the examination rooms.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patient charts.
• Collect urine samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis, if required.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain daily cleaning list.
• Fill out procedure consents.
• Schedule patients for special procedures with ASC centers.
• Formulate and document patient care plans, charts, tests, and examination results in the medical record.
• Escalate non-routine issues to the Office Manager or Physician.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager or Physician.

• Certified Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of experience (Required).
• Scribe experience is a plus.
• Medical office experience of at least 2 years (Required).
• Experience in Pain Management of at least 2 years (Preferred).
• Relevant experience for at least 1 year (Required).

• Certified Medical Assistant (Required).
