We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to take full ownership of payroll processing for our organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll across multiple entities, locations, and pay cycles in a multi-state environment.

• Administer and process payroll for a large, multi-state workforce.
• Review and validate payroll data, including hours, deductions, and commissions.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports for leadership and accounting.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay matters with accuracy and professionalism.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.

• 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel;
  Paycor experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and a team player with a willingness to learn.
• CPP certification a plus.
