Lead Security Architect

IDR is seeking a Lead Security Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Addison, TX OR McLean, VA OR Memphis, TN. This role offers a unique chance to work with a dynamic in-house technology team that is developing innovative consumer‑facing solutions transforming the hospitality industry. The position involves leading security efforts for key initiatives across web, mobile, API, and payments platforms, impacting millions of users worldwide.

• Lead security initiatives for flagship digital platforms including web, mobile, API, hospitality, and payments solutions
• Partner with delivery teams as a Product and Software Security SME to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, and compliant with security standards
• Review and ensure solution architectures are scalable, secure, and integrate seamlessly with overarching enterprise models
• Develop, maintain, and refine security standards, reference architectures, and best practices in alignment with emerging threats and industry trends
• Engage in governance processes to ensure compliance with technology standards and regulatory requirements

• 2 years of security architect/lead level experience paired with 6+ years of professional work experience in technology or security field
• One or more of cyber industry certifications such as CISSP, AWS Solution Architect (Associate level or Professional level) or AWS Security Specialty certification
• Preferably 2 to 3 years of strong software engineering and/or software development experience
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead security efforts for large‑scale, customer‑facing platforms effectively
