Azure Dev Ops Engineer with minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience, to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Azure services and Dev Ops practices, with a proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. This will be at minimum a 12 month long contract with potential conversion or extension.
This candidate will be in office in the client’s Addison, Texas office 3‑4x a week.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.
- Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot build, release, and infrastructure issues.
- Maintain and optimize Azure environments, including App Services, AKS, VMs, and networking components.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across Dev Ops workflows.
- Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Around 2 years of experience in a Dev Ops or cloud engineering role.
- Proficiency with Azure Dev Ops tools (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Power Shell, Bash, or Python.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Hands‑on experience with Azure services and cloud infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ‑104 (Azure Administrator) or AZ‑400 (Azure Dev Ops Engineer).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
