• Facilitates Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Demos/Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Provides visibility into the Agile team’s delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders.
• Manages risk including dependency management, impediment removal, and compliance with Enterprise policy.
• Applies metrics to assess team delivery, maturity, and performance and identifies and shares improvement opportunities.
• Partners with product stakeholders to ensure a healthy product and Sprint backlog.
• Provides coaching and mentoring to the team to become high-performing, focusing on continuous improvement, cross-training, and sharing knowledge of scrum practices and Agile principles.
• Leads scaled planning for the team including Pre-Planning/Preparation and Program Increment Planning events, and represents the team in Scrum of Scrums/Agile Release Train Syncs.
• Organizes and facilitates daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum/Kanban-related meetings.
• Manages JIRA board and backlog for sprint execution.
• Facilitates inter-connection and dialogue between multiple intersecting development contracts to promote a cohesive final product for the customer.
• Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency and information sharing.
• Manages parallel application development and Project/Product implementation processes.
• Assists the team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition; identifies and removes impediments.
• Prevents distractions that interfere with the team’s ability to deliver on release goals; facilitates discussion and conflict resolution.
• Empowers the team to self‑organize, improves productivity, and ensures each increment of functionality is potentially releasable code.
• Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint/release progress, maintaining process documentation.
• Updates physical and electronic agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product backlogs and in‑progress work; supports Development Manager and Project/Product Managers as necessary.
• Ensures development teams follow core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
• Works with Product Owners and Scrum Teams in requirements decomposition, backlog refinement, and breakdown of user stories and tasks.

• Bachelor of Computer Science.
• Experience as a Scrum Master or similar Agile facilitation role.
