The Role

As our Director, Product Marketing, this role reports directly into our CEO. You will operate as a one-person team—taking our product messaging, sales enablement, and technical assets from 0 to 1. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of data infrastructure, cloud platforms, and AI-driven solutions, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with enterprise and mid-market customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Positioning & Messaging:
    Own and refine Nexus Cognitive’s value proposition, ensuring clarity and consistency across all assets.
  • Technical Storytelling:
    Translate complex AI and data solutions into compelling, customer-centric narratives.
  • Sales Enablement:
    Develop enterprise and mid-market sales materials, including decks, battle cards, competitive intelligence, and product FAQs.
  • Product Documentation:
    Create clear and engaging technical documentation to help customers and sales teams understand our platform.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis:
    Conduct market research, track industry trends, and ensure our messaging is differentiated and compelling.
  • Customer & Partner Enablement:
    Collaborate with product, sales, and engineering to ensure seamless communication of our solutions.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise software, with a preference for AI, data infrastructure, or cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of open-source technologies, enterprise software applications, SaaS, databases, and cloud computing to be able to understand and articulate complex technological concepts.
  • Experience at Palantir, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar tech-first organizations is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical acumen—understands data, cloud, AI/ML, and enterprise infrastructure.
