QA Automation Tester

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who has experience building user interfaces. To help maintain and build out our catalog of native TV applications. The software engineer will engage stakeholders, assist in building features, and maintaining existing functionality. The individual contributor will report to a Senior Software Engineering Manager. We are a close-knit team, focused on solving challenging problems that make a difference in our business.

We concentrate on high-impact, high-value development, and in this role, you will develop new and faster testing methods that will help us grow. This position will require at least 5 years of experience in UI and OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) language development, ideally Python Any experience in Certifications will be a leg up in this role and Java. We pride ourselves on working in a collaborative environment, and to do so we are in our Dallas office 5 days a week.

• 3+ years of Proven experience in software quality assurance or testing, preferably within a technology-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices (manual and automated).
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and risk assessment skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
