Network Implementation Engineering

Execute the deployment, maintenance, and scalable operation of private data networks worldwide.

Monitor network performance to anticipate needs, triage issues, and orchestrate repairs with appropriate teams.

Utilize established design standards to plan for capacity migrations and infrastructure additions.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate network documentation, including diagrams, designs, and operational plans.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective solutions and adopt new technologies. Direct temporary vendor resources and complete tactical operational tasks as assigned by team leadership.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Networking, Telecommunications, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Implementation Engineering-related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: TCP/IP routing and switching or IP networking system design for network installation and troubleshooting;
Wide Area Network (WAN) or MPLS protocol operations for deployment and troubleshooting;
Coordination with field operation technicians, contractors, and vendors in a telecommunications environment;
Project management for network infrastructure deployments, including scope, timeline, and resource management; and Local Area Network (LAN) deployment and troubleshooting.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $104,000 - $149,000 + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits ition reports to the Google office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.
