IDR is seeking a Agentic Identity Engineer to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity from one of the following locations:
McLean, VA, Dallas, TX OR Memphis, TN (candidates must be local to one of these city/states). In this role, you will help design, implement, and operate identity capabilities that support AI agents and other non-human identities in a complex enterprise environment. You’ll partner across security, cloud, and application teams to build scalable identity governance, automation, and operational runbooks that improve reliability, audit readiness, and platform performance.
- Lead engineering and operationalization of identity capabilities supporting AI agents, service accounts, and other non-human identities
- Implement, configure, and integrate IAM/authorization components across enterprise security, cloud, and application ecosystems
- Build repeatable onboarding and lifecycle patterns (provisioning, deprovisioning, policy enforcement, certifications, and "kill-switch" controls)
- Develop automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting practices to improve stability, observability, and incident response
- Create durable documentation, runbooks, and operating procedures to keep platforms supportable and scalable
- 10+ years of IAM engineering, platform engineering, or identity integration experience in large/complex environments
- Hands-on experience implementing controls for non-human identities (AI agents, service accounts, OAuth clients, workload identities, credentials/certificates)
- Experience with enterprise IAM technologies such as SailPoint and Ping Identity platforms (or comparable identity/federation/authorization solutions)
- Strong automation/integration skills (APIs, scripting, connectors, workflows) to support lifecycle, monitoring, and audit/compliance needs
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across identity, application, network, cloud, and authentication/authorization layers
