  • Manage legacy system transitions, including data conversion, archival, and decommissioning.
  • Oversee integrations between athenahealth and third‑party systems (e.g., imaging/PACS, vascular lab equipment, labs, e‑prescribing, patient portals, clearinghouses, BI tools, ERP/HR systems), including interface design, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure data integrity, standardization, and accurate reporting across all clinics.
  • Build and maintain an EHR training curriculum covering new‑hire onboarding, role‑based training, go‑live support, and ongoing optimization; monitor user adoption and proficiency.

  • Ensure the EHR environment complies with HIPAA, CMS, ONC, MIPS/MACRA, and other applicable regulations; partner with Compliance and IT Security on access controls, audit readiness, risk assessments, and incident response.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with Operations, Revenue Cycle, Finance, IT, Compliance, and Clinical leadership.
  • Develop the EHR roadmap in alignment with company growth, M&A strategy, and clinical and operational goals; manage the EHR budget, vendor spend, and resourcing.
