Job Summary

Director, Clinical Operations (Surgical Assist)
MPOWERHealth |Texas-Based |Full-Time

Behind every successful surgical case is a team that makes sure the right clinician is in the right place at the right time. As Director, Clinical Operations, you’ll lead that team. You’ll own the centralized support engine behind our clinical organization (scheduling, clinical coordination, workforce planning, and team member engagement) and shape how it scales as MPOWERHealth grows.

This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who builds strong teams, fixes broken processes, and uses data to make better decisions.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the operation. Set strategy and oversee daily execution for clinical scheduling, coordination, and administrative support, all aligned to company goals.
  • Build and develop leaders. Coach and grow multiple teams, set clear expectations, and create a culture of accountability, engagement, and retention.
  • Plan the workforce. Own staffing models, capacity planning, and scheduling processes so that clinical coverage stays reliable as demand grows.
  • Make it run better. Streamline and standardize workflows, find automation opportunities, and serve as the operational link between clinical teams and corporate functions.
  • Drive performance with data. Define and track KPIs for productivity, service levels, and quality, then turn the insights into action.
  • Manage resources wisely. Oversee budgets, vendors, and expenses, with an eye toward cost efficiency and sustainable growth.
  • Lead change and integration. Roll out new tools and processes, and support acquisition diligence and integration by harmonizing processes, systems, and teams.
Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience leading operational support teams in healthcare, clinical services, or another complex service environment
  • A track record of managing multiple teams, developing leaders, and improving operational performance
  • Hands-on experience with workforce planning, scheduling operations, process improvement, and KPI management
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into business decisions
  • The ability to influence across functions and lead change in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
