Description

We are currently seeking an experienced PACU RN who would be available on a PRN basis. This role requires a compassionate, detail-oriented RN who can provide high-quality postoperative care in a dynamic fertility clinic environment. Fertility experience is a plus!

What you'll do in this role :

• Monitor and assess patients' recovery from anesthesia following fertility procedures.
• Provide postoperative care, including pain management and administering medications as needed.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with the surgical team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Recognize and respond to signs of postoperative complications or emergencies.
• Provide appropriate interventions and collaborate with the healthcare team to stabilize patients.
• Educate patients on postoperative care, medication administration, and any specific instructions related to their fertility treatment.
• Maintain and manage PACU equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean, functional, and available.

What is required :

• Current RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas
• A minimum of one year experience with PACU
