Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on nursing process/outcomes of a variety of medical/surgical and telemetry patients. Make assignments to licensed staff (LVN, RN) and delegate to unlicensed staff in compliance with current BNE rules in a structured health setting for patients with predictable as well as unpredictable health needs

What qualifications you will need:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Must be a (RN) Registered Nurse in the State of Texas of have a Compact license
Must have an Associate Degree in Nursing - BSN is required within 24 months of hire
Must have a minimum of two years experience in specialty areas in a hospital environment within the past three years
Must be a graduate of a professional school of nursing
