Assets Protection Specialist – Dallas, TX at Target.

Pay range: $22.00 – $37.40 per hour.

AP teams keep guests, team, and brand safe and secure, mitigating theft and fraud to protect sales.

• Support total store sales by ensuring products are in stock and available.
• Resolve theft and prevent loss using surveillance and intelligence‑led tactics.
• Conduct apprehensions in shortage focus areas following AP policies.
• Analyze theft trends leveraging technology, reporting and surveillance tactics.
• Use video systems to monitor theft activity.
• Respond to security incidents and document them per AP policy.
• Promote a physical security and safety culture, providing training to team members.
• Maintain positive relationships with public safety officials and law enforcement.
• Participate in legal proceedings as necessary.
• Perform any other duties as needed.

• At least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet state/local licensure and/or legal requirements.
• Good communication skills on multiple frequency devices and handheld scanners.
• Independent and team‑oriented, manage workload, prioritize tasks.
• Remain focused in fast‑paced environment, handle multiple tasks.

• Climb ladders; lift up to 40 pounds.
• Apprehend subjects per company policy.
• Safe handling and moving merchandise.
