Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) rting hourly rate: $16.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests in resolving specific needs and inquiries in a welcoming manner.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and store services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit.
• Explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards and Best Practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App, including Wallet; assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns per policy; collaborate with leaders to resolve guest needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; collect unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
• Stock supplies during store hours and remain available to assist guests.
• Follow safety policies, practices, and training; report hazards and address them where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) orders, and DU returns; adhere to applicable laws and compliance requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office activities as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, lifting up to 10 pounds routinely and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays); reliable attendance is required.
• Ability to remain mobile throughout the shift; shift length may vary.
• Adapt to varying temperatures and environments while performing duties, including Drive-Up and carryout tasks.
