Responsibilities- Fully qualified to work directly with project management to evaluate scheduled electrical work.
- Perform all duties associated with the crew lead position and provide additional support as needed.
- Prepare scope of work by reviewing site assessment pictures and liaise with project management and design team for necessary changes, documenting and submitting updates.
- Maintain tools and materials to overcome field challenges, including utility shutdowns.
- Communicate at a high level with city inspectors and maintain a 90%+ pass rate on electrical wall installations.
- Conduct cross‑training and crew development for solar installation crews, performing and documenting quality control checks during the process.
- Supervise crews while apprentices gain experience with wall installations and service upgrades.
- Carry required personal tools of the trade.
- Learn Tesla Powerwall and Enphase solar system installation within the first 90 days.
- Run own crew installing power walls and solar systems; take and pass a proficiency test to become a lead electrician.
- Attend all meetings and conference calls and uphold company core values.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow OSHA and other safety guidelines, ensuring no serious injuries in the prior 12‑month period.
- Follow policies and procedures with no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.
- Journeyman License (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
- Pay based on license type.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- OSHA 10 certified.
- Qualified to operate company equipment such as truck, trencher, man lift, and forklift.
- Proficient in safety gear usage and training/supervising work above 6’ from ground, on roofs, and ladders.
- CPR certified.
- Ability to read all installation product manuals.
- Effective communication via chat and email, with documentation of quality control checks.
