Tower Communications Expert (TCE) is a nationwide infrastructure services company supporting telecom, civil construction, EV infrastructure, modular data center, and other specialized infrastructure projects across the U.S.We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician in Texas to support project-based work across our growing infrastructure portfolio.

The Role The Journeyman Electrician will perform electrical installation and inspection-related work on active project sites while providing onsite oversight and direction to apprentice electricians as needed.

This is a part-time, project-based position requiring approximately 50% travel. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background along with hands-on civil construction experience and is comfortable working across EV, data center, and telecom environments.

Key Responsibilities Be onsite for electrical inspections and project requirements

Pull and terminate electrical wire

Wire switch gear and associated electrical equipment

Wire and install EV charging stations

Install and wire CT cabinets

Install electrical conduit and raceway systems

Read and work from electrical drawings, plans, and specifications

Support electrical work associated with EV auto/drone infrastructure

Support ILA and modular data center projects

Support telecom-related electrical scopes of work Coordinate electrical activities with civil construction and field teams

Oversee and provide direction to apprentice electricians while onsite

Verify work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes

Assist with troubleshooting, testing, inspections, and project closeout as required

Qualifications

Current Journeyman Electrician license applicable to work in Texas Hands-on commercial/industrial electrical experience

Experience with switch gear, CT cabinets, conduit installation, wire pulling, and electrical terminations

Previous experience overseeing or directing apprentice electricians

Civil construction experience strongly preferredEV charging, data center, telecom, or infrastructure construction experience preferred

Ability to read electrical drawings and construction plans

Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and applicable codes

Ability to travel approximately 50% based on project needs

Valid driver's license and ability to work at various project locations

Comfortable with project-based and variable work schedules

Compensation $35–$45/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
