Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join an enterprise QA team supporting Encino application testing. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions while partnering closely with developers, QA professionals, and Agile team members throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Selenium, Java, and Cucumber, along with experience in API and database testing.
This individual should be a strong communicator, self-directed, and comfortable taking ownership of automation initiatives within an Agile environment.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
- Develop and enhance automated testing solutions to support application quality and release objectives.
- Execute automation testing and analyze results to identify defects, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform API and database testing as part of comprehensive application validation.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, execution, and automation activities.
- Provide demonstrations and communicate automation progress, results, and findings to the Agile team.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and work collaboratively to resolve defects.
- Contribute to improving automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall QA efficiency.
- Take ownership of assigned testing initiatives and deliver high‑quality results with minimal supervision.
- 5–7 years of experience in QA Automation or Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
- Experience with API and database testing.
- Proven experience developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and take ownership of deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
