Payroller

Payroller Part-Time / Full-Time / Flexible Working - Weybridge

An established and friendly firm of accountants is looking to appoint a Payroller to include some Bookkeeping duties to support a growing portfolio of owner-managed businesses. This role offers genuine flexibility and would suit someone looking for part-time hours, reduced hours, or full flexibility around working patterns.

You will take responsibility for running payrolls while also supporting the wider accounts team with bookkeeping and VAT work.

• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for directors and staff of owner-managed businesses
• Managing RTI submissions, pensions, starters and leavers
• Handling payroll queries from clients in a professional and timely manner
• Bookkeeping using cloud-based accounting systems (e.g. Xero, Quick Books, Sage)
• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
• Assisting with month-end bookkeeping and reconciliations

• Part-time or full-time hours available
• Flexible working – office-based, hybrid or remote

• Previous experience in payroll within an accountancy practice or similar environment
• Comfortable handling multiple payrolls accurately and efficiently
• Experience with bookkeeping and VAT returns

• Organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently
